I've been seeing some ads for cheaper versions of Propecia (finasteride) online. Has anyone tried these? I'm just curious if they're as effective and safe as the brand name version.

Thanks for the response! I've actually been considering it for a few months now. My hair loss is starting to worry me, and Propecia seems like one of the more effective options out there. But the cost has always been an issue.
