Hi everyone! Ive been using Propecia (finasteride) for about a year now and have seen some great results with my hair. My dermatologist suggested I consider getting a years supply of the medication to continue seeing progress. Can anyone share their experiences or advice on ordering a full year's worth of Propecia? Thanks!

Hello SunnySideUp! Its great to hear youve had positive results with Propecia. Ordering a years supply can certainly help with maintaining your progress and avoiding any gaps in treatment. Just remember that it's essential to continue monitoring the effects of the medication under your dermatologist's guidance.

Thanks DrSmiley! I definitely want to make sure there are no interruptions in my treatment plan. How often do you recommend checking in with the dermatologist while on a year-long supply? And should I be monitoring any specific side effects?

Great questions! You should aim to check in with your dermatologist every three months or so to assess the effectiveness of Propecia and ensure there are no adverse side effects. Common side effects can include a decrease in libido, erectile dysfunction, and sometimes depression. However, these are not common for everyone. If you experience any new symptoms, it's important to reach out to your doctor right away.

Thanks for the detailed advice, DrSmiley! Checking in every three months sounds reasonable. Also, do you have any tips on where I could safely order a years supply of Propecia? Im trying to find a reliable pharmacy or website.

Sure thing! When it comes to ordering medications online, always ensure youre dealing with reputable sources. Look for websites that require a prescription and have clear contact information. You can also check if the pharmacy is licensed in your state or country. Its often safer and more reliable to get it through your dermatologist's office or a trusted local pharmacy who might offer mail-order services.

That makes sense. Ill definitely look into the mail-order option from my dermatologists office. Is there any additional advice you would give to someone considering a year-long supply of Propecia?

Absolutely! Consistency is key with Propecia. Stick to the prescribed dosage and schedule to see the best results. Its also important to understand that while Propecia can help prevent further hair loss and may promote regrowth in some cases, individual responses can vary. Patience is crucial as it often takes several months to notice significant changes.
Remember, your dermatologist will be able to provide tailored advice based on your specific situation. Keep them informed about any concerns or questions you have along the way!
